Hailing from the West Coast, Los Riptides bring a raw, untamed energy to the surf scene. Their sound is all crashing waves and flickering torchlight — a perfect fusion of vintage surf rock, horror punk swagger, and midnight beach bonfires. It’s gritty. It’s ghostly. It’s got bite.

The band’s debut recordings are dripping with tremolo, haunted by reverb, and driven by a rhythm section that sounds like it was summoned from a foggy seaside graveyard. Imagine The Ventures on Halloween night — or The Ghastly Ones jamming at a cursed tiki bar.

At Another Wave Records, we’re always searching for the next evolution of surf, and Los Riptides are carving their own sonic shoreline. With snarling riffs, wailing leads, and an aesthetic that blends surf goth, tiki surf noir, and vintage mayhem, they’re not just riding the wave…. they are the storm behind it.

Their first release with us is already in the works, and you better believe vinyl is on the horizon.
