Another Wave Records was born out of the struggle to create freely. We started this label to highlight incredible artists and give them the reins creatively — not to hold them back. Too many traditional labels are about control; we’re about connection.

Our mission is simple: put good music in the right hands, and get it heard by the right ears. We champion genuine artists across surf, exotica, jazz, rock, and beyond — connecting their sounds with the listeners who will love them most.

From production and marketing rollouts to digital distribution and vinyl pressing of any size or budget, we bring music to life with care and intention.

Another Wave was founded in Los Angeles by two creative friends with a shared vision: to carve out a space where good music could thrive without compromise. Now based in both LA and San Francisco, we remain an artist-led label, building community and pushing sound forward together.

At the end of the day, we’re artists too — carving our own path in a constantly changing industry, making our own rules, and building a community that believes in the power of independent sound.
